Just curious if anybody likes anything.

I like:

Day/Baddeley -125 over Johnson/Kuchar
Ogilvy/Shwartzel -120 over Haas Watney

I like the Americans in the rest of the matches, but just gonna play those two and if they are going good I'll throw in Tiger/Stricker over Choi/Scott

Like J Day @ 12-1 for most points. Sure he won't sit any matches and just kinda seems to be "on" right now.

yea, i like the hell out of Day. Ive had futures on him in so many tourn this year he's been close in its not even funny. he just makes that one misstake on the back 9 everytime that screws him, or somebody else plays really really good and he gets 2nd.....i like your bet though, looks like a good one

I am on those 2 exact foursomes as well. I like haas/watney being rookies and ogilvy schwartzel both playing better right now and ogilvy says he grew up 400 yards from the course. Also like the two aussies in the other matchup (day/baddeley) playing 2 guys who haven't been in good form of late, especially Kuchar. I also took Adam Scott to have the most points on either team, my book had it at 20-1 which is inflated because it's supposed to be 12-1. Also took the internationals to win the whole thing at -120.

US to win -108
I like their experience and leadership to carry them

Day/Kuchar halved +650
this matchup should be really close, kuchar and DJ have enough pose to stick with the home town favorites

simpson/bubba -130
simpson has been playing exceptionally well and I cant see Els/Kim to match their play

Nice, GL.....I wanted to play Watson/Simpson but Els kinda scares me at Melbourne

baam! good night with a late collapse by Bads

a few observations:
Even with the different format I'm surpirsed with some of Norman's lineup changes for today's matches. I personally wouldnt have split up Choi and Scott but I believe the reasoning is to spread the wealth since he is down 4-2.

bubba/simpson...they had some amazing shots, very nice chemistry
ogilivy looked very comfortable reading those greens, most likely I will bet the Choi/Ogilivy pairing against Haas/Watney. Haas looked very shaky
bads putted everything in he could and he would be a easy pick today if he didnt crumble on 18. with the crumble, there are too many questions on how he will respond
kuchar still doesnt have his early season form back, DJ still cant & hates playing partner golf

I like the international matchups, i see the international team gaining ground on the US today

Big Play
Ogilvy/Choi -125
Tee time 6:17pm

I like Simpson/Bubba but -160 is steep

My J Day play gets hurt due to his partner AB. What was that fat pop up drive on 18? Know I know how my partners feel. Anyway, got go againt the favs of Toms/Mahan. Neither are birdie machines just steady. Format calls for goin low. So.....

I was considering that matchup also and my lean is in that direction. Goosen is pitiful at foursome but his record in Fourball is great.

However I still think Toms/Mahan putting is better so I stayed away

Well that's the logic. Good putters are par machines. In 4ball, give me the guys who shoot even par on their own ball with 8 birdies -of course at even thats not many pars. Most holes will be won with birdies. So... Really just forcing a bet but...

I'd take the steady, course mgmt type guys today. I guess it depends on where they put the flags at, but with the slopes and speed of these greens, it wont be a birdie fest.....I like the Toms, Mahan, Choi, Stricker types today.

Well my Adam Scott play appears dead, thanks mr. norman for splitting up choi/scott and basically forcing scott to play on his own yesterday. Anyways, on to foursomes today. That mickelson/furyk play looks good, although feel like yesterday it was a matter of their opponent playing poorly and them winning, they played much better on thursday. Haas-Kuchar I have at -155, might be too steep, but feel like this Els-Ishikawa team is dead on arrival. I haven't seen Ernie make one putt all week and Ishikawa has been rolling the ball well, but his ball striking has been terrible.
